My name is Megan Johnson and I bought The Bakehouse in June 2026 as a passion project and purely for the love of the game. I love baking and I always have. I’ve long been inspired by the greats: my Aunt Karen, my Mamaw, Chef Christina Tosi, visionary Marie-Antoine Carême, my queen Martha Stewart, and my north star Alton Brown. I graduated culinary school from The Art Institute of Atlanta in 2014 with a degree in Culinary Arts ~ Baking and Pastry. I’ve long dreamed of owning and operating my own bakery, and here I am!

I truly love serving and caring for others through food. It’s what motivates me to get up early every single morning, because I know I’m going to come in and bake something that might make someone’s whole entire day.
